Prague Airport

The Václav Havel Prague Airport is a contemporary and highly furnished airport, which is located at the northwest edge of Prague. The airport is situated at a distance of 17 KM from the city center and all majors parts of the city are well connected with the airport through roads. Previously, the airport was named as Prague-Ruzyně airport; though in 2012, in the month of October, the airport has been renamed as – Václav Havel Airport Prague, aka Prague Airport. The airport is renamed after the name of the country’s Velvet Revolution President, Václav Havel. He served his nation as the president of the nation for both, Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic.
